Valois Residence

The residence aims to provide opportunities for its residents with intellectual handicaps to move toward and maintain independent functioning in everyday life and to develop a sense of personal fulfillment. Being an integral part of WIAIH, they are well-integrated into their milieu and socialize with other families who are part of the community network.

The residence was built by parents in 1973 and is still run by the Association. Eight of the nine original residents still live there. Occasional respite is provided to families who qualify. For more information, please call the Valois Residence Coordinator at: (514) 697-0220. or val...@wiaih.qc.ca
